September 14, 2003 Today started out with heavy rains moving through the Chicgao area, but they seemed to be done at about 10:30, and I decided to get the convertible out and give it a shot. We arrived at Blackwell Forest Preserve, and were met by a good turnout for such a cloudy and gloomy day. Everyone brought some food, and we had quite a good cookout, with brats, cheeseburgers, cookies, and all the fixins. Great desserts too! Thanks to everyone who came out!
