June 2, 2002 Well - the weather gods seem to have scared most of us away from yet another meeting. Turned out - it only sprinkled for a few seconds - and never really rained at all. That'll teach me to be a weatherman I guess... Since I didnt expect anyone to show up, I forgot to bring my camera... Along with myself, Mike Rodak showed up with his great looking 68 Fastback w/ 289. And Dennis Gonio then arrived with his 69 Mach 1 - 428 Cobra Jet. OH MY GOD You will have a hard time finding two nicer looking cars at any classic car show. And how the hell did they wedge that 428 into that engine bay? The world may never know. Anyways, even though those were the only cars - we still drew the attention of a few passers by, and shot the breeze for a few hours. Thanks for coming guys... I know that it has been a slow start for this group, and I will do what I can to make sure that I keep looking for new members. That is the only way we will start to get a good head count at our own meetings. We are up to 28 members now by the way. -Zim
